I have to say, today... is a good day!
Not only did I get word from Columbia that the possible teacher strike has been settled (peacefully, I'm told), I also recieved the costume that the kids picked out for me to wear in the Parade. (I was unaware there was a poll.. apparently it was supposed to be a surprise). It's the same one I had picked on my own (those kids really do have impeccable taste).
I love you, Chicago. I assume I won't be the only person dressed as a Leprechaun on Sunday.
I was in such a good mood on my way back to the office... the car pulled up next to another limo on Clark. I noticed the other's back window was cracked. Oh yes, I could not resist.
Too bad the Italian Embassador doesn't know what Grey Poupon is. I think he would have laughed a little harder.
